Eva Gusztos has been teaching the Alexander technique for 25 years. As a founding member of the Hungarian Alexander Technique Teachers’ Association (ATE), she is committed to making the Technique known throughout Hungary. She is also qualified as a certified health promotion teacher and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy consultant so her knowledge is wide-reaching.
In 2012, the Alexander technique teacher training program was accredited by her for adult education in Hungary. She regularly holds workshops for singers, instrumentalists and music teachers, and feels that the introduction of the Alexander technique into higher education is of prime importance, especially in the fields of health promotion, health education, physical therapy, performing arts, psychology, and teacher training. Since 2016, she has been teaching the Alexander technique at the Institute of Psychology of Gáspár Károli Ref. University.
According to her philosophy, the work of an Alexander technique teacher is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach. Continuous knowledge development, expansion of knowledge and experience gained during work are important elements of lifelong learning. This includes all the experiences and impulses that mature during the joyful time spent with students and master teachers.
